Interagency Methods for Dealing with Chronic Runaways presented by the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children

Learn the facts about runaways and what we can do as a team to prevent these children from becoming victims of crime.  All those interested in Child Protection including law enforcement, social service, prosecution, and mental health managers, supervisors and line personnel from agencies that deliver services to youth in Gainesville are invited to attend. 

Facilitated by Peter Bellmio, Senior Policy Advisor to the President of NCMEC, the interactive seminar will define the nature of the problem and effective interagency response to that problem. Participants will conduct an assessment of the problem as it exists in Gainesville and develop a plan of action for the future.  AM and PM refreshments and Lunch will be provided.  Please click here to register today! 2010’s Friend Raiser is a particularly special event as we thank the Child Advocacy Center’s Founding Friends! The Friends of the Child Advocacy Center are an auxiliary to the Board of Directors who focus on the various needs of the Center to help sustain and grow the CAC’s efforts to serve abused children. This annual event invites the community to join the Friends of the Child Advocacy Center.
