In the United States, more than 4 children die from child abuse and neglect every day. Over 70% of those children are under the age of 3. 1 out of 3 girls and 1 out of 5 boys will be sexually abused before their 18th birthday. Throughout the year the Child Advocacy Center hosts, benefits from, and participates in many events to help break the cycle of child abuse.

Now in its 9th year, Gainesville Gone Austin is our signature fundraising event which raises over $100,000 to help fund our vital programs so we may further impact the lives of child victims. This year’s event will be held on Thursday, October 26.
